On behalf of the Ukrainian mining company UGOK, we have developed a state-of-the-art thickening plant that not only increases the company’s processing capacity, but also offers significant ecological benefits. The use of innovative technologies has significantly reduced the environmental impact by reducing the volume of waste.
Commissioning: 2011
- Client: UGOK
- Location: Ukraine
- EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) Conducting feasibility studies and laboratory tests to ensure plant effectiveness, basic and detailed engineering for precise planning and technical execution, supply of high-quality plant components such as thickeners and pumps, installation supervision and commissioning to ensure a smooth start-up, training for operating personnel to optimize plant operation.
- Scope of delivery: 3 high rate thickeners (Ø 62 m), 3 flocculant preparation and dosing stations, 6 pump units for thickener discharge, 4 pump units for material feed, pumps for water treatment, control and automation, measurement and control technology
- Technical data: Process water treatment of up to 97 %, reduction of landfill area by a factor of 5 to 6

Customer benefits
Minimized downtimes: Installation and commissioning during ongoing operation.
Reduction in operating costs: Efficient water treatment reduces resource consumption costs.
Ecological advantages: Landfill areas are reduced by a factor of 5 to 6, which reduces the ecological footprint.
