Flotation plant for sulphide processing
In Central Asia, we acted as general contractor (EPC) for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of a state-of-the-art flotation plant for sulphide processing plant. The aim of the project was to increase the performance of the sulphide processing plant by using the advanced flotation machine.

Pilot plant
A total of 107 tests were carried out at the pilot plant between 2020 and 2022. The tests covered various material streams, including the coarse and processed concentrate from flotation. The results showed the great potential of technology in flotation, especially in the pre-cleaning of processed concentrate.
The most important results of the tests:
- Copper content of the pre-purification concentrate: 26 %, with a recovery of 70 %
- Final concentrate copper content: 23.2-23.7 % (increase of 1.2-1.7 % compared to the base scenario)
- Total copper recovery: 82.5-82.9 % (increase of 1.2-1.6 %)
- Total gold recovery: 59.7-63.0 % (increase of 0.7-4.0 %)
