Natalija Dobersek

Natalija Dobersek, a graduate economist specializing in business law and international projects, has been an integral part of Engineering Dobersek GmbH since 2011. She took over as Managing Director in 2020 and has been shaping the development of the traditional family business ever since. She is responsible for Finance & Administration. Her multilingualism in German, English, Slovenian and Serbian enables close international networking and holistic, future-oriented company management. Influenced by the values of her parents, Natalija Dobersek combines tradition and innovation in a unique way. Her management approach is characterized by foresight and a clear understanding of values, with the focus always on people.

In addition to her professional responsibilities, Natalija Dobersek is actively committed to sustainability and animal welfare. She also demonstrates great organizational talent in her private life by harmoniously balancing the challenges of being a mother of five children with her professional responsibilities. She is an example of how leadership and family can be successfully reconciled.

Jakob Gazembiler

Jakob Gazembiler, a graduate engineer with an MBA and training as a technical draughtsman, has been Managing Director of Engineering Dobersek GmbH since 2024. He is responsible for Sales & Technology. He initially began his career in 2020 with the successful management of the branch in Almaty. In August 2023, he took over as Head of Sales & Marketing at the headquarters in Mönchengladbach and made a significant contribution to the success and further development of the company. With his impressive combination of technical expertise and international sales experience, as well as his fluent language skills in German, English and Russian, he has played a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the family business. With innovative solutions, a clear understanding of values and an international perspective, he is driving the future of Engineering Dobersek forward.

He is also versatile and dynamic outside of his professional commitments. With this balance of professionalism and personal inspiration, Jakob Gazembiler provides important impetus for successful corporate development.

Dr.-Ing. Albin Dobersek

Dr. Albin Dobersek, engineer and doctor of steel and alloy sciences, founded Engineering Dobersek together with his wife Tatjana in 1983 with the vision of creating innovative solutions in industrial plant engineering. What began with three drawing boards and modest means developed under his leadership into an internationally active and successful company that has made a name for itself, particularly in the fields of mining, metallurgy and mineral and water treatment. His language skills in German, Slovenian, Russian and Serbian, coupled with his international professional experience, laid the foundations for an extensive international network. Driven by a high demand for excellence and innovation, Dr. Dobersek built sustainable partnerships and established Engineering Dobersek as a global specialist in the planning and implementation of complex industrial plants.

Tatjana Dobersek

Tatjana Dobersek has played a central role in the financial development and stability of Engineering Dobersek GmbH since it was founded in 1983. As an authorized signatory, she was responsible for commercial matters for decades and used her financial expertise to create the basis for sustainable growth. Her structured and solution-oriented approach ensured that the company was always well positioned for the future, even in a dynamic market environment. With her international perspective and her clear view of economic interrelationships, Tatjana Dobersek successfully guided the company through the challenges of a globalized business world. In doing so, she created a working environment characterized by respect and trust – a value that is reflected in the exceptionally long service of many employees.

In 2024, Albin and Tatjana Dobersek handed over the management of the company completely to the next generation, but remain closely associated with the company as consultants. Together, they have spent over 40 years building a company based on the values of reliability, innovation and respect. Their close collaboration, based on mutual trust and a clear vision, led the company to international success. Their life’s work and tireless commitment have made Engineering Dobersek what it is today.

What once began with three drawing boards and big ideas has developed into an internationally active company with more than 200 employees, 70% of whom are academics. Our core competencies include the supply of turnkey systems, the integration of innovative technologies into existing systems and the construction and optimization of new systems.
