The aim of the EU-funded project is to significantly reduce dust and nitrogen oxide emissions – an important contribution to cleaner air and greater environmental protection in the region.

Now that the preparatory phase has been completed, implementation is starting. As consortium leader, Engineering Dobersek is responsible for the overall coordination and all construction site activities. We are also responsible for the electrical and control technology, fly ash disposal, pressure part modifications and the entire construction technology across all systems.

By implementing the project, the Kosovo B power plant will be able to fully comply with the requirements of the EU directives on industrial emissions with regard to dust and nitrogen oxides – especially in the winter months, when air pollution is particularly harmful to health.
