The German plant engineering company received the oder for new construction ans supply of a plant for thickening of sludge containing tailings from the treatment process of iron ore. This plant is a part of the disposal facilities for process water and the tailings of Severny GOK combine for iron ore mining and beneficiation in the central Ukraine region Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in the Krywbas iron ore basin.The thickening plant is designed for a througput of 2,410 tons of solids/h as well as 67,650 m³ sludges/h and is the second one of this type of plant in Ukraine accordance with current international methods. Medinvest is in charge for the project management . A sustainable investmest in the future with state of the art-technology: The modern plant design is consistently geared towards reducing energy consumption and relieving the burden on the environment. For example the enenergy comnsumption of the sludge pumps is reduced up to 50%.
