In addition to the industry-specific services of engineering, procurement and plant construction, Engineering Dobersek is known for its research and development activities. Such expertise, which constitutes the basis for the company’s future project undertakings, was highlighted by a specialist lecture, held by Engineering Dobersek at the EMC 2019 - European Metallurgy Conference 2019.
The project presentation "Construction of a New Plant for Oxidizing Roasting of CIL (Carbon-in-Leach) Gold-Bearing Tailings” showed not only a practical implementation of the scientific research results, but also featured the process engineering derivations thereof. The state-of-the-artpractical application was demonstrated on the example of the new and unique roasting plant in Central Asia, which is currently being commissined. With its innovative project solutions presented within the framework of EMC 2019, Engineering Dobersek was able once again to generate impetus for the market segment of metallurgical plants. The abundance of questions after the presentation proved the theme to be of great interest and high thematic relevance for the demanding specialist audience.
