Engineering Dobersek receives an order from Nornickel to build a separation plant in Monchegorsk, Russia

Just in time for Christmas, Engineering Dobersek received a new order for the construction of a Nis-Matte separation plant in the Murmansk region of northern Russia, worth more than 100 million euros. At the Montschegorsk site, the existing mining and metallurgical plant PJSC Kola, a subsidiary of the Norilsk Nickel Group, will be expanded. The new separation plant will be used to separate nickel matte for the recovery of nickel and copper concentrate.  The technology package for this project includes engineering and supply of key equipment, as well as on-site assembly. The construction phase is scheduled to start as early as spring 2023. Commissioning is scheduled for the end of 2024.

PJSC Kola is a unified mining and metallurgical company for the production of sulphide-copper-nickel ores and the production of non-ferrous metals. Around 13,000 people are employed there. The core business of the Norilsk Nickel Group is the mining and processing of mineral resources and the production and sale of non-ferrous and precious metals. The products are delivered to more than 30 countries. Engineering Dobersek GmbH has 20 years of business experience in cooperation with Norilsk Nickel. During this time, many projects have been carried out at the company's plants.
